Fireside Lodge stands behind the workmanship of furniture approved for commercial use. This Limited Warranty describes the coverage available to the original commercial purchaser for qualifying indoor commercial and hospitality installations, subject to the terms below.
1. Eligibility and applicability
This warranty is available to the original commercial purchaser of new Fireside Lodge furniture purchased from Fireside Lodge or an Authorized Fireside Lodge Dealer for commercial or hospitality use, provided that Fireside Lodge approved the particular product for commercial use. It is not transferable. Commercial customers may include hotels, resorts, lodges, restaurants, bars, offices, rental properties, institutions, and other businesses; customer type alone does not establish product eligibility. The same coverage periods and conditions apply to all qualifying commercial settings, including high-traffic restaurants, bars, and public spaces.
Products not approved for commercial use are not covered under this commercial warranty. All outdoor use and exposure to outdoor conditions are excluded.
Coverage periods run from delivery to the original commercial site. The purchaser must provide evidence of that delivery date. The separate residential Lifetime Promise does not apply to commercial or hospitality installations.

The limited lifetime structural wood coverage continues for the lifetime of the original commercial purchaser, subject to this warranty and its exclusions. All other periods are measured from delivery to the original commercial site. Coverage applies only when a defect in materials or workmanship causes the covered component to fail during the stated period. A covered structural defect includes failure of a structural member or joint that materially compromises stability, safe use, or intended function. Normal wear, cosmetic changes, and deterioration from use are not manufacturing defects.
Cushions may soften, settle, compress, or wrinkle through ordinary use. Fabric and leather coverage is limited to confirmed manufacturing defects, not normal wear, fading, staining, pilling unrelated to a manufacturing defect, stretching, body oils, spills, pet damage, tears, or improper cleaning. Customer-, dealer-, or designer-supplied covering materials are not warranted by Fireside Lodge.
3. Natural wood characteristics
Solid wood, log furniture and reclaimed barnwood respond naturally to changes in temperature and humidity. Knots, checking, cracks, grain variation, nail holes, insect tracking, saw marks, weathering, small gaps, seasonal movement, and color differences may be inherent characteristics rather than defects. The size or visibility of a check or crack alone does not establish a manufacturing defect.
A claim may be covered when defective materials or workmanship cause structural failure, instability, unsafe use, or a material loss of intended function. Cosmetic checking, minor joint movement, and ordinary expansion and contraction are excluded. Exact matching of natural materials, replacement components, finishes, dye lots, or dimensions is not guaranteed.
4. Proper care, installation and excluded causes
Furniture must be used indoors in an appropriate environment, with reasonable care and maintenance. Fireside Lodge recommends maintaining approximately 35%–45% relative humidity for solid wood products and avoiding heating vents, prolonged sunlight, excessive moisture, and extreme temperature or humidity fluctuations. Damage caused by unsuitable storage or environment is excluded.
- Normal wear, heavy-use abrasion, scratches, dents, burns, stains, spills, watermarks, fading, color changes, body oils, pet damage, insect damage, accidents, abuse, or misuse.
- Improper assembly, installation, leveling, bed supports, anchoring, moving, repair, refinishing, cleaning products, or use beyond stated weight, occupancy, or intended-use limits.
- Freight, delivery, handling, or installation damage, which must be handled through the applicable delivery or freight-claim process.
- Outdoor use or exposure, including covered patios, porches, and areas subject to weather or outdoor humidity.
- Products sold as-is or with disclosed defects, to the extent of the disclosed condition; normal floor-sample wear and handling damage.
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs to the extent they cause or contribute to the claimed defect.
5. Submitting a claim
The original purchaser must notify the selling Authorized Dealer promptly after discovering a suspected manufacturing defect, while the applicable warranty period remains in effect. If the dealer is unavailable, contact Fireside Lodge Customer Service directly. No fixed number of days after discovery is imposed by this warranty.
The claim must include the original invoice, evidence of delivery to the commercial site, product name or number, photographs showing the complete product and affected area, a description of the problem, and relevant installation information. Fireside Lodge may reasonably request product labels, usage, maintenance and environmental records, or an inspection. Do not dispose of, return, alter, or repair the item without prior written authorization if doing so would prevent evaluation of the claim.
6. Exclusive warranty remedies
If Fireside Lodge determines that a defect is covered, it may, at its discretion, repair or stabilize the product, supply replacement parts, provide a comparable replacement product, or issue merchandise credit based on the original purchase price of the affected product. The selected remedy will take into account the nature of the defect, availability of materials, product age and condition, and feasibility of repair. Exact matches cannot be guaranteed. A repair or replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period. These remedies are exclusive to the extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Freight, on-site service and labor
Fireside Lodge will decide whether to contribute to freight or transportation costs for an approved warranty claim on a case-by-case basis. Any commitment to pay freight, shipping, packing, or transportation must be approved in writing by Fireside Lodge before the expense is incurred. Without that approval, the purchaser is responsible for those costs.
On-site service, removal, disassembly, installation, reinstallation, assembly, dealer labor, and third-party labor are covered only when Fireside Lodge has expressly approved the specific expense in writing in advance. Unauthorized costs are not reimbursable.
8. Limits on liability and legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the applicable written warranty period. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Fireside Lodge is not responsible for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential losses, including lost revenue, room downtime, business interruption, lost profits, loss of use, removal costs, damage to other property, or third-party claims. Applicable law may restrict these limitations. This warranty gives the purchaser rights under applicable law, which may vary by jurisdiction.
9. Effective date and prior purchases
This Commercial & Hospitality Furniture Limited Warranty applies only to qualifying furniture purchased on or after October 17, 2026, and delivered to the original commercial site. It does not apply retroactively to furniture purchased before October 17, 2026, regardless of when a claim is made. Purchases made before that date, including those with previously offered lifetime structural coverage, remain subject to the written warranty terms, if any, applicable to those purchases and to any separately agreed written project-specific warranty. Nothing in this warranty reduces rights or obligations under an earlier applicable written agreement.
