There is something about bunk beds that make you feel like a
kid again. Whether you operate a campground
or resort, they make a traditional and space saving option. And for
those looking to bring that feeling from camp home
or an option to add more beds without sacrificing square footage, bunk beds are
an inventive solution. Here are 5 reasons why we think our bunk beds are
awesome:
Built-in Ladders
The ladders of our bunk beds are built into the beds themselves. This means no dealing with a separate ladder that can be knocked over in the middle of the night or misplaced which keeps the top bunk empty. And with space being a common issue, a built-in ladder is more space effective than stairs. With a built-in ladder, the top bunk is accessible at any time. We also offer the built-in ladder in left and right configurations which is dependent on where in your space the bunk bed is set to go.
Bunkie Boards and Slat Rolls
Our bunk beds come standard with bunkie boards on the upper bunk and slats for the lower bunk. These support options remove the need for box springs underneath the mattress which gives occupants more headroom in spaces where there is limited ceiling clearance. We also offer additional bunkie boards either on their own for the lower bunk or to add to a slat roll configuration. For more information, please contact your account manager. Also, check out this blog article for a deeper look on slats versus bunkie boards.
Safe and Sturdy
We want everyone to have a peaceful night’s sleep in all our beds, and with bunk beds, safety and stability are more of a concern. Our bunk beds are made with safety in mind and are compliant with all regulations like the ASTM F-1427 and the Government Code of Federal Regulations 1213 and 1513. This means for those sleeping in our beds, they can rest easy knowing we take their comfort and safety seriously.
Sizes and Configurations
The first thing people think of when it comes to bunk beds are typically single sized beds stacked over one another either at a summer camp or in a college dorm room. While there is nothing wrong with that, our bunk beds are capable of more which includes sizes ranging from the traditional single to the more spacious queen size bed. This means even adults can enjoy a bunk bed whether it is at a camp, cabin, or in a room where two queen beds take up too much space.
Available Across 5 Collections
Our bunk beds are available in all our major collections which include WoodShop, Cedar Log, Barnwood, Hickory Log, and Appalachian. And with various stains available in most of these collections, we can match existing furniture and décor.
