We are still building and shipping!
As the COVID-19 outbreak has rapidly developed, the primary thought on everyone’s mind might not be furniture, but nevertheless we want our customers to know that we are still here for them and continuing with operations as close to normal as possible. As such, we are still building and shipping!
Our Response
Though we are happy to announce that all our team members have a clean bill of health, the well-being of our employees is of our utmost concern and as such we are taking all possible measures to keep our offices and workshop safe zones for our employees to show up for work each day. We are following all State and Federal recommended practices and are keeping clear lines of communication open both internally and externally.
As a majority of our sales and business office personnel already telecommute, we are blessed that this step is already in place for us. Additionally, the physical set-up of our workshop with individual workstations is already more than compliant with “social distancing” measures recommended.
But even with these practices already in place, we are taking numerous further steps to help keep our workplace healthy. From staggering break and lunch times, to increased regular sanitizing of common areas, and even cleaning finished pieces with disinfectant wipes before shipping, we are doing everything in our power to “flatten the curve” in our community and beyond.
As we move forward
Though no one knows what tomorrow may bring, Fireside Lodge will continue to serve you to the best of our ability and your customer service representatives, account managers, and other support is always a simple phone call or email away.
But more than furniture, shipments, or preventative responses, know that the continued health and safety of all those we serve – customer and team members alike – is our truest and strongest desire. We will all get through this together!
